@Florence: its an ancient Persian ceremony .. the night before the last Wednesday of the year people make a couple of fires and jump over and dance around it to celebrate the coming of the sun and the beginning of the spring once the winter is over cuz as u might know the Persian calender starts with the beginning of the spring on 21st of March which is the day, days start being longer .. thanx for ur comment :)
